Anette Hoiness, CEO
Annette Hoiness, founder of Access Capital, has extensive experience in banking, manufacturing, general reading and foreign affairs, having served in various diplomatic positions over the years in Germany, the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Japan, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.
Annette started her career in shipping finance in 1990, subsequently joining the Danish Foreign Service as a commercial attaché. She went on to launch several beverage-trading businesses in the Middle East and Asia. While in Japan she was the Executive Director of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
Annette has held senior roles in Corporate and Investment Banking as well as in Private Banking:
Managing Director, Corporate & Investment Banking team, Bank of American Merrill Lynch (BAML), Dubai covering the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Assisting corporate clients and major family offices. Her focus: Corporate finance, tailor made solutions for managing and leveraging clients’ assets, hedging and yield enhancement solutions, access to capital markets as an issuer or as investor, and general M&A advisory.
Managing Director, Corporate and Investment Banking, Société Générale Annette was Managing Director, Head of Private Investment Banking in MENA – a joint venture between, Société Générale’s Private Bank and its Corporate & Investment Bank divisions
Head of Private Banking, MENA for the Abu Dhabi owned, Swiss private bank, “Falcon Private Bank”.
